MAKE YOUR VERY OWN FRITE

FRITE'S DNA SEQUENCE
How to bring your frite to life!
Start with the body: Instead of focusing on stitch count, aim to knit a square about 16 cm x 16 cm (roughly the size of a small sandwich napkin). Depending on your wool and needles, that’s usually between 15–30 stitches cast on ... but it’s the size of the square, not the number, that matters most. It’s like knitting a little square blanket piece!
Frite Family Reminder: But remember — all Frites are different, just like you and me! So if yours turns out a little bigger, taller, wider, or smaller, it doesn’t matter one bit - every Frite is perfectly unique and absolutely Fritabulous!
Shape it up: Once your square is ready, cast off, then fold it in half like a sandwich. Sew up the two side edges, leaving the top open so you can stuff it before closing. You’ll have the perfect Professor-approved Frite shape (about 14–20 cm tall and 9–12 cm wide when finished).
Stuff & close: Fill your Frite with any kind of stuffing you like to make it squishy, then sew the bottom shut. Boom! you've got a Frite body!
Add ears or wild hair: For ears or a funky hairstyle, cast on 3–4 stitches and knit little pieces about 3 cm long. Make as many as you like and stitch them on. Want to go wild? Try frizzy yarn or knit a teeny hat!

Give your Frite some flair: Sew on button eyes, ears, or any fun details you like. This is where your Frite really comes to life!
Dress it up: Wrap a ribbon or a bit of yarn around its neck like a scarf or a bowtie. Frites love fashion.
Don’t forget the smile! Use colourful thread or yarn to embroider a happy little mouth. Now your Frite is officially full of joy!

Ta-da! Your one-of-a-kind Frite is ready
to adventure into the world with you!
